Construction-grade limestone (calcium carbonate, CaCO₃), with purity levels of 99.5%–99.9% and exceptional chemical stability, is used to produce general building materials, limestone aggregate for roads (railway ballast), limestone for construction foundations and maritime works, crushed limestone for concrete mixes, and limestone sand for mortar and plaster. It also serves as a limestone filler for cement and in limestone for bio-eco restoration products.
